I am back in the saddle again. I arrived safe in Lima on this last Monday, Juan and Natalie (my host family down here) picked me up with bleary eyes ready to go to bed. That made three of us. The following day I hung out with them, and we were able to go to the zoo. I loved it. It has been since I was about two years old the last time I was there, so I was in need of a revisit. I must say I was facinated by all the animals, especaily the monkeys. =)
I went for a short trip to Chincha. The World Race is here (about 25 people ages 21-30), and spending one month in Chincha at Los Jardines and Tambo de Mora. Jason (the other teammate here), is in the states still. He found out he has a begnin tumor on his liver, and is seeing specialists. Please keep him in your prayers as he trusts God during this trying time, and desires to return asap. This has left me in a time of decision. Without a teammate, it makes my moving about the city restricted. Seth Barnes (yes the founder of this organization) has been talking to me about joining the World Race for the next three months. Please pray as this would be a different turn in my focus. One of my concerns is not fulfilling committments here in Lima (and the relational connection I have with my host family). I will update you more about the decision when it is made in the next few days.

Ruby, I pray that God will give you wisdom to make the right decision.
