In a way, I am thankful for the lives freedom costs, not because lives are dispensible, but because it gives me an appreciation all the more to see the flag flying high and to know that though chaos rages all around me, my feet stand on free, protected ground. Generations before me have secured this, not fully understanding manifest destiny; but being sure that this was the only option…. So it is for every Christian- generations long before us secured in their hearts not to let the flame of Jesus Christ dwindle and though it cost many their lives- they have been willing to wave the flag of Truth, knowing if manifest destiny was going to continue, the truth must be told and lived out.
I am a nobody walking among giants. I see what others can offer to this goal and understand that I have a long way to go. But, praise God that He pursues me with more intensity then I can return. He makes any calling possible. Do you believe that?
